Registration for E-Health Records Incentive Begins
Registration began this Monday, January 3rd, for the Department of Health and Human Services’ E-Health Records Incentive Program, funded by the Recovery Act.
Under the program eligible professionals, hospitals, and critical access hospitals who adopt, implement, upgrade or demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology can receive Medicaid incentive payments of up to $63,750 over six years, and Medicare incentive payments of as much as $44,000 over five years.
To find out more about the E-Health Records Incentive Program visit the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services website to find important dates and details about the program.

Why are we not just using tax deductions fund these initiatives instead of spending money out of the budget?
