A portion of Loudoun County’s EECBG funds from ARRA were used to install 5 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at the new Harmony Park & Ride lot in Hamilton, VA.

I applaud any efforts in regards to installing charging stations for EVs. Can’t wait for the infrastructure to be stable enough to switch to an EV for all my driving.
Wow, we always follow the US so I guess these will be showing up in the UK before too long?!
It’s a start. I hope more of our recovery money is being invested in electric vehicle infrastructure. One of the only ways people will decide to buy electric cars is if there are enough charging stations. No charging stations = no one buying electric cars. More charging stations = more people buying electric cars. It’s so simple and if we keep moving forward we will get there.
That is the best step to have better and “greener” future. I hope more countries will go that way.
The future is near. It won’t be long before you post a picture of a station to refuel your hovercraft.
